New LIHTC Award to Bring Redeveloped Affordable Housing

Northwest Georgia Housing Authority's application for the redevelopment of the low-income housing development formerly known as the Cave Spring Housing Authority has been selected for funding under the 2024 9% Housing Tax Credit Competitive Round through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. 

The total development cost of $17,696,778 will result in the demolition of the existing 52 public housing and Section 8 units and the new construction of 58 affordable units. The unit mix will consist of 1-4 bedroom townhomes and duplexes.

Northwest Georgia Housing Authority is excited to provide newly constructed, high-quality affordable housing to the Cave Spring community.
