Section 811 Housing Grant Award

Appalachian Housing and Redevelopment Corporation was awarded the HUD Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities grant award in the amount of $938,397.00 to build rental housing for extremely low-income individuals with disabilities.

The project consists of a single structure to be built at 199 E. 12th Street (across from John Graham Homes). It will have six (6) separate bedrooms, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. One of the six rooms will be reserved for an in-house caregiver.
